Jennifer began her career serving as a court attorney at the New York State Appellate Division, Second Department where she prepared confidential reports for the Appellate Division Justices in a wide range of practice areas. At the Second Department, Jennifer found her passion in the appellate world and moved to the private sector in 2002 as an associate attorney with Mauro, Goldberg and Lilling where she spent several years working on appeals and post-trial motions.
Jennifer then went to work as in-house counsel for Tower Insurance Company. While there, she headed the appellate department and was responsible for reviewing substantive motions drafted by outside counsel. She left Tower to start her own private practice, which consisted of writing briefs and motions for other lawyers as well as handling the oral argument that ensued. Jennifer was an adjunct professor at Briarcliffe College and at Hofstra University School of Law’s Paralegal Certificate Program.
