Prior to joining MLN, Katie worked in the litigation practice group of a Long Island insurance defense firm, where she handled cases in all areas of personal injury defense from inception to trial, including school district and municipality defense, construction and labor law defense, and premises liability defense. Katie was also involved in that firm’s appellate practice authoring appellate briefs and arguing appeals to the New York State Appellate Division.

Since joining MLN in 2014, Katie has evolved into an exceptional appellate advocate. She has authored numerous briefs and argued appeals in a variety of practice areas and is considered a “go-to” member of our appellate team.

Katie is admitted to the New York State Bar and the New Jersey State Bar. She received her Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law, where she served as Research Editor of the Journal of Civil Rights and Economic Development. She received her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Loyola College in Maryland in 2007.
