Prior to joining MLN, Seth was an appellate associate at one of Long Island’s largest defense firms. He has handled appeals and complex motions in a wide array of practice areas, including commercial disputes, medical malpractice actions, construction accidents, premises liability cases, automotive accidents and real property disputes.
Seth is a cum laude graduate of Touro College’s Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center where he received CALI awards for excellence for achieving the highest honors in Legal Methods (Best Oral Advocate), Appellate Advocacy and Trial Practice. He received his B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany, magna cum laude. While at Albany he was the President of Albany’s Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honors society.
Seth is a former co-chair of the Suffolk County Bar Association’s Appellate Practice Committee. As a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, Seth has published articles analyzing how social media technology could expose businesses to claims of negligent hiring and retention as well as a statistical analysis of the Appellate Division, Second Department’s treatment of “serious injury” threshold motions in car accident cases.
Seth is admitted to practice law in all state courts of New York, as well as before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Seth is a member of the American Bar Association, the Suffolk County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. He is also an active member of RIMS (The Risk Management Society), Long Island Chapter.
