Aaron is an appellate attorney, specializing in complex motion practice and appellate litigation, who has experience handling matters in both the public and private sectors at all stages of litigation and in all practice areas. Aaron’s diverse appellate and litigation background, spanning over a decade, allows him to bring a rare, well-rounded perspective to appellate matters.
Prior to joining Mauro Lilling Naparty LLP, Aaron was a partner at a well-known regional law firm in New York, where he focused on appellate litigation and co-managed the appellate practice group. Before entering private practice, Aaron served as a senior law clerk to the Honorable Michael J. Garcia, Associate Judge of the New York Court of Appeals. In addition to that role, Aaron has also served as an appellate court attorney at the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department, where he was a law clerk for several of the Court’s Justices, including the Honorable Shirley Troutman, who is now an Associate Judge of the New York Court of Appeals. In addition to those clerkships, Aaron has also served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Appeals Bureau of the New York County District Attorney’s Office. Throughout his career, Aaron has handled hundreds of motions and appeals in state and federal courts.
Aaron graduated, cum laude, from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. While in law school, Aaron served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Hofstra Law Review, was a member of the Hofstra Moot Court Board, and had his student note published in the Hofstra Law Review.
