Greg has a decade of experience litigating cases at both the trial court level and on appeal. He has successfully drafted and argued appeals on behalf of national retailers, hospitals, transportation companies, and commercial property owners, many of which involved advocating for his clients on unsettled areas of law. Prior to joining MLN, Greg was an associate and then special counsel at two large insurance defense firms.
Greg also has an extensive background in the intellectual property arena, with experience in both private practice and at Colgate-Palmolive’s trademark department. He has handled trademark, copyright, and right of publicity claims made by and against internationally known music groups, as well as litigation and administrative proceedings for clients in the food and beverage, cosmetics, and toy industries. He has also regularly helped clients, from small startups to global corporations, select key trademarks and register them with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. As an avid songwriter with multiple copyright registrations to his name, Greg recognizes the importance of ensuring that creative work is protected.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Brandeis University, Greg earned his juris doctor at Brooklyn Law School.
