Jo-Ellen Holbrook joined Mauro Lilling Naparty LLP as Of Counsel in 2010. Prior to her association with the firm, she was a Senior Associate at Cullen & Dykman LLP in Brooklyn, New York. While at Cullen & Dykman LLP, Ms. Holbrook handled various real property tax related administrative and judicial proceedings, including the drafting of complex Court of Appeals and Appellate Division briefs related to such matters. She also advised other associates on issues pertaining to appellate briefs and related procedural issues. In addition, Ms. Holbrook handled matters related to various aspects of corporate law and drafted and negotiated a wide variety of contracts and other agreements for both profit and non-profit corporations. Prior to that, Ms. Holbrook served as a court attorney for two years with the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Appellate Division, Second Department. She graduated from St. John’s University Law School in 1998 where she was a member and the Notes and Comments Editor of the St. John’s Law Review.
